Progression fantasy This series has gotten a lot better in the most recent books。 This one had a lot of skill progression and fighting， but still had some management of the main story in a few concise chapters。 I liked that better than the business building that the first few books focused on。

I detested the dungeon run in book four。It was filler that wasted only set off an event。 This book， being the rest of the run， was boring。 Nothing but drawn out set up。 I am looking forward to book six where we can get back to the actual storyline。

a great read I’m home sick and I got through the whole thing in one day。。 We get more great action and finally some answers about the MCs powers and rewards。 We make some progress with the war but it’s not quite wrapped up yet so I’m sure Dereck will get to test out some new skills on the battlefield。 Can’t wait for the next book
